About the Faculty
Ministry at ICOF Global University
The School of Ministry trains for practice rather than for the library. Where the Faculty of Theology reads the discipline, this school prepares the people who will stand in a pulpit on Sunday, sit with a family in a crisis on Monday, and answer to a board on Tuesday.
Its awards run from the diploma to the practitioner doctorate, and each level articulates into the next. Teaching covers preaching, pastoral care, discipleship, worship, evangelism and mission, together with the governance, stewardship and ethics of authority that a growing ministry demands of whoever leads it.
Most of its students are already serving. The school is built around that: study is available online and on campus in Buea, and admission is enrolment, so a minister may begin from the date of their offer without standing down from the work they are being trained for.
What We Stand For
Purpose, vision and values
The School of Ministry teaches that Yahuah is the Creator and that Yahusha is the Messiah, through whom Yahuah’s redemptive purpose is revealed and accomplished, and that the Ruach HaQodesh empowers the people of Yahuah for holy living, witness, service and ministry.
The theological language of the School of Ministry uses Yahuah for the Creator and Yahusha for the Messiah. Where biblical, historical or academic sources employ other names or transliterations, the original terminology may be retained when necessary for accurate scholarly engagement, with the University’s preferred terminology used in the University’s own theological exposition.
